The Punisher's Story

As The Punisher, Frank Castle's ultimate goal is to wipe out criminals by any means necessary. During the 1970's, Frank made his debut in the Spider-Man series, and went on to make appearances in Daredevil, and other Marvel titles. In the 1980's, the Punisher got his own series. Dressed in black military gear, with his signature foreboding white skull across his chest, the Punisher lacks super-powers, but his strengths lie in his experience as a highly skilled combatant and marksman, commanding an arsenal of countless weapons, both classic and technologically advanced. The Punisher proves himself unstoppable in the face of criminals and law enforcement alike. Frank became a decorated marine during the Vietnam War. During his time as a soldier, he uncovered and fought against internal corruption that often threatened his life. After coming home to New York, Frank's family was killed when they witnessed a mob murder. Frank vowed to avenge the death of his family, and with this, the Punisher was born. After dealing out his deadly brand of justice to the crime family that took his wife and children from him, Frank went on to wage war against all murderous criminals. The Punisher's battle is one that never ends.
