A 1940 study stated that cards was America’s most popular
social recreation, with 87% of families surveyed saying they played cards.
Since then, card playing has shifted in two important ways – less use of
traditional decks, but more games available on the computer. I’m sure there are
kids today that have played Solitaire dozens of times – just never with a paper
deck of cards.

A game for every person and mood
