As with many games, Casino War is a slightly more complex version of the common
children’s game ‘War’. Although many online casinos are still warming up to the
concept, it has already established itself as a simple, easy-to-learn game that
features a rapidly growing player-base in the real world casino. Players have
begun to recognize Casino War as a great warm up for other, more large-scale
games such as Poker and Baccarat, as the card hierarchy is nearly identical.
Otherwise, War Games in a casino are popular amongst beginner gamblers and
veterans as well, and has been hailed as a simple, yet engaging game with a
lower house edge.

The Rules of Casino War
Although there may be slight variations in the style or finite rules, Casino
War is played much like regular war. Casino War is a game played with six decks
(rather than the one common in non-casino war). All the cards are ranked in a
hierarchy identical to that of poker, with the exception of aces always being
high. All players are required to make wagers. To begin, all players receive
one card, including the dealer. Then, each players single card will be compared
to that of the dealers; If it is higher, then the player will win even money.
In the event that the dealers card is higher ranked, then the player loses. In
the event of a tie, the player has two options: they may either go to ‘war’
with the dealer, or concur and receive half the bet they placed.
Casino War Tiebreakers
Should the player go to war, he or she is required to raise the bet by an
amount equal to their original wager. The dealer will always do the same,
despite the fact that such a tradition is for show purposes only. Once again,
both the player and the dealer are dealt a single card, which is then put up
against each other. The same rules as above are still applicable.
