PokerStars Radio Returns!
Update on the US Situation

The PokerStars World Record Tournament kicks-off on Sunday at 5.30pm (GMT), aiming to beat our own previous record of just over 149,000. In celebration if this event, PokerStars Radio will hold a special one-off broadcast to coincide with the tournament.
The show will feature prize giveaways, phone-ins, special guests and exclusive tournaments. It will be hosted by Joe Stapleton and Nick Wealthall, and starts at 5pm (GMT) on Sunday, half an hour before the World Record attempt begins. Here's what you can look forward to:
Depositor Freeroll
If a player makes a real money deposit with the bonus code given out on the show, they will get a ticket for a freeroll on December 18. Players that finish in the top 20, will win an entry to the $215 10th Anniversary Sunday Million special edition that starts straight after the freeroll. It's got a guaranteed prize pool of $10,000,000, including a life-changing $2,000,000 set aside for first place.*
Call-in spot prizes
During the show, 10 lucky callers will win a 10th Anniversary package that includes a special edition hat, t-shirt and card protector, from the PokerStars VIP Store. What's more, one extra-lucky caller will win a Citizen watch, worth 26,500 FPPs.
World Record Second Chance
If players miss out on winning big in the 10th Anniversary World Record Tournament, there's a special Second Chance event running after the main tourney, at 6pm GMT on December 4, with a buy-in of just $1. On top of the prize pool, there will also be 100 $11 tickets added for the special edition of the Sunday Storm on December 11, which has a guaranteed prize pool of $1,000,000. Players can only register for this second chance event using the exclusive password given out on the radio show.

New Account Creation Process
Next week we are planning to roll out the new streamlined account creation process we released last month in .FR to clients for all other licenses.
This new process presents all the required sign up steps on a single screen, improving the conversion rate from download to registration.
For marketing codes, players will now enter the marketing code by selecting ‘Marketing Code’ via the drop down menu for the field ‘Choose Source’. Once selected, a text box will appear for the player to enter the marketing code.
Screenshots of the account creation process are now available on the PokerStarsPartners.com, simply login and visit the Screenshots page.
Road to 100 Billion: 75 Billion
PokerStars is on the Road to 100 Billion hands dealt, and the next stop is 75 Billion. To mark the occasion, players can win huge cash prizes just by playing in ring games. Statement
As part of its agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), PokerStars has obtained the assets of Full Tilt Poker, and will use these assets to re-launch the Full Tilt Poker site. PokerStars has also committed to the full reimbursement of funds owed to Full Tilt Poker customers outside the United States within 90 days of formal closing of the deal, which will occur within seven days. United States Full Tilt Poker players will be dealt with by the U.S. government.
We will set aside a separate account holding the full amount to cover all outstanding player balances outside of the U.S. and are working diligently to re-open the Full Tilt site as soon as possible. This process will take time as we verify account ownership and balances and work with authorities in the relevant jurisdictions to ensure that we can return funds in an efficient and effective way. Again, our agreement with the DOJ means these funds must be available within 90 days of closing.
Going forward, Full Tilt Poker will maintain a segregated account with more than enough funding to ensure that player funds are fully available for use or withdrawal at any time.
We understand that former Full Tilt players have many questions and we will strive to answer as many as possible as soon as we possibly can. Below is an FAQ addressing many initial questions. We will continually update this FAQ as more information becomes available.
