Staff from Gala Coral across the UK are in training for the world record attempt next month, which is aimed at raising £100,000 for the Sue Ryder Care charity.
The 24 bingo buffs plan to climb to Everest's Base Camp and set a new world record for playing the game at height.
Dominic Harrison, chief executive of Gala Coral Group, said: "It seemed appropriate to break a world record by playing Gala Bingo's High 5 game, the UK's highest daily bingo jackpot, at the highest point ever recorded (for playing bingo) in history
