The Bingo Room
| |
Bingo is not just for old ladies anymore. Oh sure, they still
take up the majority of seats in the Bingo rooms, but as Bingo's popularity
increases, so does the diversity of its players.
Bingo is a great game because it offers no house advantage. You pay for your
Bingo card, go into the Bingo room, and then have just as good an opportunity
at screaming, "Bingo!" and dancing fanatically after you win as everyone else
in the room. So why wouldn't you play Bingo?
Many people believe Bingo is an old, slow game, that takes no skill to play.
And that couldn't be farther from the truth. Handling multiple cards and trying
to keep track of the numbers being called out is not easy to a novice player.
If you miss the number, well, they don't wait for you to catch up, or fumble
around looking for all occurrences of the called number. There is a deliberate
pace that is not shied away from. If you are looking to make your first foray
into a Bingo room, be aware.
A Bingo room, and more importantly can be very exciting. Bingo, unlike most
other casino games, takes its time building the excitement. A buzz slowly
gathers steam as more and more numbers get called, and everyone begins looking
around the room to see who is going to make the excited scream of jubilation.
Maybe it will be you; maybe not.
There are also different versions of Bingo, aside from the traditional five in
a row game most non-Bingo players are familiar with. These different versions
add their own blend of suspense and excitement, and it's difficult not to get
caught up in that wave of enthusiasm when you're in a Bingo room. Just
remember, if you're playing multiple cards, get ready to move fast. Bingo is
not for the faint of heart. No matter what you may have heard.
